Ecological Supervision & Working Method Statements
Many developments which have the potential to impact upon sensitive species or habitats are required to submit an Ecological Working Method Statement with their planning application. This document provides details to site contractors about what measures need to be taken to avoid breaching wildlife legislation or contravening their ecological planning conditions. On some sites, certain tasks may need to be supervised by an ecologist or a toolbox talk given, to fully inform site personnel about the ecological sensitivities. Our ecologists can prepare method statements and are experienced in both undertaking supervisory work and giving toolbox talks to contractors.
